Rotary International RID 3206 Chartered 26 March 2026

About the Club

Service Above Self — the Coimbatore Global way.

A new Rotary chapter built for the city we love, plugged in to a global movement that has served humanity for over 120 years.

Our story

How Coimbatore Global began.

Rotary Club of Coimbatore Global was chartered on 26 March 2026 by a founding group of 40+ professionals from across the city — manufacturing, healthcare, technology, education, finance and the arts. We came together with a simple conviction: that Coimbatore deserves a Rotary club designed for the next decade — digital-first, partnership-led, and uncompromising about impact.

The club is part of Rotary International District 3201, and joins a global fellowship of 1.4 million members across 200+ countries. We are sponsored by [SPONSOR CLUB NAME] and supported by district leadership in Coimbatore.

The clock tower at the heart of our logo is a tribute to Coimbatore’s civic legacy and the wheel that surrounds it — Rotary’s gear — reminds us of our duty to keep that legacy moving.

Why we exist

Vision, Mission & Values

Vision

A Coimbatore where every child has clean water and quality education, every family has access to dignified healthcare, and every river still flows clean.

Mission

To bring the global discipline and reach of Rotary International to bear on Coimbatore’s most urgent civic problems — through partnership, transparency and measurable outcomes.

Values

Service. Fellowship. Diversity. Integrity. Leadership. The five core values of Rotary, lived in our weekly meetings and in every project we run.

The Rotary framework

The Four-Way Test

Of the things we think, say or do — every Rotarian asks these four questions before acting.

  1. 1Is it the TRUTH?
  2. 2Is it FAIR to all concerned?
  3. 3Will it build GOODWILL and better friendships?
  4. 4Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
