A new Rotary club is born in Coimbatore — built by 40+ professionals who believed the city deserved a club designed for the next decade of service.
The story
How we came together.
The idea for Rotary Club of Coimbatore Global began in late 2025, when a small group of professionals met at [VENUE] to discuss a simple question: “What kind of Rotary club would our city need today?”
The answer that emerged was distinct. A club that treated service as a profession — measurable, transparent, partnership-led. A club that was unapologetically global in outlook and unapologetically local in execution. A club where time-poor leaders could plug in deeply, without compromise on impact.
Over the next four months, with the direct guidance of District 3201’s leadership, we drafted bylaws, recruited charter members, defined our six focus areas and lined up our first cohort of projects. This club was formed directly under Rotary International — without a sponsor club.
On 26 March 2026, with 40+ founding members present and the District Governor presiding, the charter was formally presented and Rotary Club of Coimbatore Global became Coimbatore’s newest Rotary family.

Chartered directly under Rotary International.
Rotary Club of Coimbatore Global was formed directly under RI District 3206, without a sponsor club. District 3206’s leadership guided us through the chartering process, mentored our incoming Board and helped us build the foundation for a club designed for the next decade of service.
